Ronit specialized as a Family physician completing her Masters qualification in Family Medicine and graduating with Cum Laude. She chose this pathway in medicine as she is a generalist who enjoys consulting patients from babies to elderly, mental illness to women’s health, chronic diseases to infectious diseases and everything in between.
Ronit feels very privileged to work in a profession where she can be of service and values the importance of building trusting relationships with her patients. She approaches each consultation in a thorough and holistic manner to ensure that when her patients leave her consulting room, their concerns have been heard and addressed to their satisfaction.
Ronit has worked for over 17 years in the public sector where she gained an abundance of experience working in clinics and hospitals across Cape Town and Hout Bay.
Following her specialization in Family Medicine, Ronit was appointed Clinical Manager of Woodstock Day Hospital and thereafter, she was asked to lead the clinical commissioning of the brand new multi-story clinic called District 6 CDC in the heart of the CBD. She set out to achieve a clinic of the highest standard, the clinic was later awarded the Batho Pele Service Excellence award by the Western Cape Dept of Health. Once the clinic opened she was appointed Clinical Manager.
Ronit left her role in the public sector to join our practice and now wants to focus more on empowering her patients to achieve a state of innate health and wellbeing which cannot be achieved with out also focusing on one’s lifestyle, state of mind and environment.
She looks forward to meeting you and following this exciting journey together.
Ronit is married with 4 kids. There is no such thing as “off time” for Ronit; when she is not at work she is spending time with her family, attending to her kids as well as enjoying the outdoors such as hiking, walking her 2 Labrador dogs on the beach and cycling outdoors especially in the areas surrounding Hout Bay.
